Launch of Vignettes of RkC and ORA Business Network at the Willingdon Club, Mumbai

The Old RkCians' Association launched a book on RkC, Vignettes of RkC written by Mr. Ayaazkhan at a beautifully choreographed event organised by ORA Mumbai at the Willingdon Club in Mumbai. The event was a grand success due to the large attendance by the old boys and girls with their families and the preparation and presentation of the book launch was so wonderfully released to the excitement of all present at the function.
The programme started with an introduction by Nazafreen Palia an RkCian from Mumbai. The first speaker Bharat Avalani welcomed the guests, and thanked everyone for making time to attend the function and introduced the guests on stage namely Lt. Col. Ajit Dudani, Kiran Patel, Mr. Ayaazkhan, Shri Jayendra Sinhji of Lathi, and the ORA President Yogesh Wadhwana.
After the address by the our esteemed speakers, Vignettes of RkC was launched by all the guests on stage with a big round of applause, and a standing ovation. The book's brief history and introduction were beautifully narrated by Sir, Mr. Ayaazkhan's daughter and nieces. Mr. Ayaazkhan with his humour, and sher o shayari ended the nostalgic speech that took us all down the memory lane. Everyone present was happy to get the book signed by the author.

In line with its objective to promote RkC, the ORA has published this book authored by Mr. Ayaazkhan, and is distributing it among ORA Members. The book is available from the cities and names listed below:

In recognition for outstanding achievements and contribution to society, three RkCians were felicitated with plaques; Kiran Bhalodia, Asif Kaludi, and virtual presentation to Shri MK Ranjit Singh Jhala at his New Delhi residence by Kiran Wadhwana. View the plaques in the gallery below.
Finally vote of thanks by Yogesh Wadhwana. It was a great function meeting classmates and friends followed by cocktail and dinner. It was a memorable evening.
