The OBA was formally renamed The Old RkCian's Association (ORA) to include girl alums, and registered as a Charitable Trust in 2009. The ORA aims to enable Old RkCians, wherever they are in the world, to maintain lifelong connections with the School and with each other.
For current boys, girls, recent alums, and RkC Staff members, the ORA aims to work with the School, and RkC alums from different professions, and is willing to offer their time and expertise in professional mentoring or in social assistance programmes. Through OR Connect, ORA members can benefit and leverage the professional connections of other alumni.
There are over 5,000 ORA members across the globe, and we believe no RkCian leaves the School without a keen understanding of the great influence and achievements of their RkCian forebears and a few legends of old before them. The Old RkCian's Association endeavors to celebrate and preserve this heritage.
ORA members will receive invitations to the ORA reunions taking place across the world, and other events such as the ORA Lecture series and interest specific get togethers will be planned across different cities.

The ORA Business Network
The Old RkCians Association Business Network (ORABN) is a professional network aimed at fostering professional growth, mentorship, and camaraderie amongst RKC Alumni, thereby creating a robust support system for both current students and alumni. The core ethos of ORABN is “मित्रवान् साधयति अर्थान् द़ुसाध्यान् अपि वै यतः।” which means “A man having a friend can accomplish even the most difficult things”. Thus ORABN hopes that its members can be that friend to its current and future alumni in achieving not only professional growth but also become a source of skills development and mentorship.

The ORA Membership Card
The Executive Committee of the ORA is happy to announce a new digital platform – OR Connect. The purpose of this platform is to bring together our 5,000+ strong community of RkC alumni across the globe on a common ground to connect, engage and network with fellow alumni. Through OR Connect, we hope to interface with all alumni more efficiently.
An electronic OR Connect Card will be shared with all alumni after they sign-up with OR Connect.
The OR Connect Card is your unique identity among the ORA and will come with select privileges at participating businesses run by RkCians, or access to School resources when you visit. Will share more details as this initiative pans out across all alums.
This registry will serve as an online directory of alumni contact information to enable us to stay connected, and share news and resources. Rest assured, we have taken necessary precautions to ensure that your data remains confidential.
